MONSTA X's Shownu Reassures Fans About His Health Following Eye Surgery

On August 9 at noon KST, MONSTA X began their online concert “MONSTA X LIVE FROM SEOUL WITH LUV,” where Shownu made one of his first public appearances since his surgery.

In July, it was revealed that Shownu underwent surgery due to retinal detachment in his left eye, and the online concert was postponed to the current date to allow Shownu to recover from the surgery.

At the concert, Minhyuk brought up the topic by saying, “There was the unfortunate news of Shownu’s eye surgery. Many people must have been worried.” Shownu responded, “As you can see, I’m very healthy. I’m eating well too. Please enjoy today’s concert. I’m so happy to see you all.”

MONSTA X originally had a world tour scheduled to begin with a concert in Seoul in May, but it was postponed due to COVID-19. The new dates can be found here.
