Jay Park will be joining Chinese hip hop survival show “The Rap of China”!

On August 9, a poster was released to announce that Jay Park would be joining the show as a producer.

“The Rap of China” is a hip hop audition program similar to Mnet’s “Show Me the Money.” Produced by Chinese online video platform iQIYI, the show first began in 2017 and is currently in its fourth season.

In addition to Jay Park, other stars including Kris Wu, Taiwanese-American singer-songwriter Will Pan, Chinese singer-songwriter Jane Zhang, and Chinese hip hop artist GAI will appear as producers.

“The Rap of China” also released a promotional video of the producers showing off their skills in a cypher, in which each rapper takes turns free-styling over a beat. Jay Park posted a clip from the video on his Instagram account, displaying his versatility through his rap in both Chinese and English.

Founder of the hip hop and R&B record label AOMG, Jay Park also previously appeared as a producer in the fourth and sixth seasons of “Show Me the Money.”
