DAY6’s unit Even of Day has released their debut album “The Book of Us : Gluon – Nothing can tear us apart” and a music video for the title track “Where the Sea Sleeps”!

“Where the Sea Sleeps” is composed by Young K, Wonpil, and Hong Ji Sang. The lyrics were written by Young K and express the feelings of wanting someone to join them in their boat of life, float atop the tumultuous sea that is the world, and stay with them until the end, where the sea sleeps.

Even of Day consists of DAY6 members Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon. The music video for “Where the Sea Sleeps” is an animated video that features the members’ respective characters Ke, Pil, and Don. Watch it below:

It includes seven songs in all, featuring the title track “Until the Place Where the Waves Stop” (literal title), which was co-composed by Young K and Wonpil with lyrics by Young K.

Young K co-composed five of the tracks while Wonpil also co-composed four, and Young K wrote lyrics for all the songs, with Wonpil joining him to write lyrics for “Thanks to.”

DAY6 has revealed the first teaser for their unit release!

Last week, JYP Entertainment confirmed that DAY6 would be making a comeback as a unit for the first time.

According to the new teaser, the unit is called “Even of Day” and will be released on August 31 at 6 p.m. KST. The unit will be composed of members Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon.
