On August 10, Brand New Music shared a statement to update fans on the legal action the agency is taking to protect their artists.

The statement reads:

We are sharing an update on the current situation regarding the criminal complaints we filed with the help of Ahnpark Law Firm against malicious acts such as personal attacks and insults toward our artists.

The prosecution has faithfully carried out their investigation, including the citation of the suspects, and has recognized the complaints against the suspects and charged them a fine.

In the future, we will continue to take strong legal action against all malicious acts that violate the rights of our artists.

We will continue to share updates on the situation until the end of the case. We ask the fans for their cooperation.
