On August 11, YG Entertainment uploaded an official statement regarding AKMU’s comeback. The full statement is provided below:

We sincerely thank all the fans who always support and love AKMU, and today, we want to deliver welcoming news.

Starting from September until the end of the year, AKMU plans on releasing new songs in new formats a total of three different times.

AKMU has already finished working on all the songs, and they’re carrying out preparations for three music videos in order to portray their own unique colors.

AKMU, whose musical genius stands out, showcased their transformation and growth through the release of their third full album “SAILING” last year, so this year, fans can anticipate their evolution.

Please look forward to discovering the emotional world AKMU has freely swam towards and arrived at after weaving across the wide musical sea like fish in water, and please show lots of interest for AKMU’s new story and music.
