(G)I-DLE Sends Jun Hyun Moo A Coffee Truck After Misheard 'DUMDi DUMDi' Lyrics Go Viral

(G)I-DLE gifted Jun Hyun Moo with a coffee truck after misheard lyrics to their latest song went viral!

On August 3, (G)I-DLE made a comeback with their new song “DUMDi DUMDi.”

Soon after, some listeners shared online that they thought the English line “Turn up my summer” was actually “Jun Hyun Moo sunmool” in Korean—”sunmool” means “gift.” Many people shared the clip and said they now couldn’t unhear it.

Jun Hyun Moo is a famous TV personality who currently hosts the Mnet show “TMI News,” among other programs.

After the incorrect lyrics became a hot topic, (G)I-DLE actually sent a gift to Jun Hyun Moo!

On August 12, their official Twitter account shared photos of the members with Jun Hyun Moo and his “TMI News” co-host Jang Do Yeon. It included the caption, “The real Jun Hyun Moo gift sent by (G)I-DLE! To the ‘TMI News’ cast and crew, enjoy and get your energy up!”

Last week, Jun Hyun Moo shared a funny video about the misheard lyrics on his Instagram. Over a clip of Jun Hyun Moo looking confused, a song is played that includes the singer asking, “What am I doing there?”

He wrote in the caption that he’d got a tip from (G)I-DLE fans about the misheard lyrics, and he promoted that night’s episode, which included the group’s members Miyeon, Minnie, and Yuqi.

The official (G)I-DLE Instagram account replied to him to say, “Thank you, Jun Hyun Moo! Please love ‘DUMDi DUMDi’ a lot!”

Have there ever been incorrect lyrics you couldn’t unhear?
