YG Announces Plans For WINNER's Song Mino And Kang Seung Yoon To Release Solo Albums

WINNER’s Song Mino and Kang Seung Yoon will be returning soon as solo artists!

On August 13, YG Entertainment released an announcement regarding the two members’ upcoming solo albums. The full statement is provided below:

Hello. This is YG Entertainment.

We are briefly delivering news of WINNER members Song Mino’s and Kang Seung Yoon’s new music releases.

Song Mino is planning on releasing a full-length solo album in October.

As it is the production of a full-length album with over 10 songs and not a single or mini album, it took a longer amount of time than expected, and he is currently focusing on the final stages of recording.

When considering the remaining second half of production and the filming schedule for the music video, we are expecting the release time for the solo album to be within October.

Kang Seung Yoon is focusing on his role in the new MBC miniseries “Kairos,” which will premiere in October, and he is doing his best to impress as an actor. He has been making time out of his busy schedule to simultaneously and steadily work on his solo music.

Since his drama filming schedule overlaps with his music production schedule, it is still difficult to predict a specific album release schedule, but both members have showcased their desires to release full-length albums, so YG will respect and support the artists’ opinions as our first priorities and do our best with the goal of fall releases.
