CIX’s agency has shared updated plans for the group’s comeback.

On August 17, C9 Entertainment posted an official statement sharing details about Bae Jin Young’s recovery as well as a tentative schedule for the next comeback.

Previously, the group’s comeback with their third mini album “HELLO Chapter 3. Hello, Strange Time” was postponed after Bae Jin Young suffered an ankle injury in June.

The agency stated that they have their sights set on an October comeback in order to schedule the album release close to the date of their upcoming fan meeting and to provide enough time for Bae Jin Young to fully recover from his injury.

Hi, this is C9 Entertainment.

This is an announcement about Bae Jin Young’s therapy results and CIX’s future activities.

Bae Jin Young, a member of CIX, was diagnosed with a sprain of his foot joint in June and he has been receiving medication and undergoing physical therapy. Although his specialist said that he was fully cured, he is continuing to undergo rehabilitation to regain strength in the surrounding muscles. The specialist said that he should have no difficulty performing intense choreography after September 9.

For CIX’s comeback with their third mini album “HELLO Chapter 3. Hello, Strange Time,” we considered many different options, such as having CIX perform as four members or having Bae Jin Young perform while seated. However, we have decided to postpone the album release in order to have a comeback with all five members.

C9 Entertainment is currently rescheduling the release date of the postponed album. We are trying to schedule the album release close to the date of the fan meeting in early October. The fan meeting, originally scheduled to be held in February, was postponed due to COVID-19.

Due to government guidelines, the fan meeting may be postponed or canceled even though all preparations have been made, much like what happened in February, July, and August. Even if the scheduled date of the fan meeting is changed, CIX’s comeback with all five members will proceed as planned.

We would like to ask for your understanding again regarding the postponement of CIX’s album due to unavoidable circumstances. We will do our best to ensure all of the members of CIX can work together as soon as possible.
