VAV’s Baron will be enlisting in the military next month.

On August 18, A TEAM Entertainment stated, “Baron will be enlisting on September 7. VAV’s comeback in the same month will proceed with six members.”

A day earlier, Baron had shared a handwritten letter on VAV’s official fan café. He wrote, “As the 29-year-old Choi Choong Hyeob [his real name], I will be fulfilling my duty as a soldier to protect the safety of Korean citizens.”

He continued, “To VAV’s Baron, you all were like the light. You are bright spotlights and lamps that lit up the darkness in front of me. I will grow a lot in the next year and six months and then return to you.”

VAV is currently preparing for a new album in September, their first comeback since last October’s “Poison.”
