With the drama “To All the Guys Who Loved Me” halting filming after actor Seo Sung Jong tested positive for COVID-19, it’s been announced that the upcoming KBS drama “Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” (literal title) has also shut down filming temporarily.

On August 19, a source from the drama explained to Xportsnews that some of the staff had also worked on “To All the Guys Who Loved Me.” They said, “They were not in direct contact, but they have been tested and are waiting for the results.”

The source said, “As we wait for the test results, we are halting the planned filming today in order to ensure the safety of the staff and cast. We will pay close attention to the situation and do our best to ensure everyone’s safety.”

“Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” is an upcoming KBS romantic comedy that stars Go Ara and Lee Jae Wook, and it is slated for an August 26 premiere.

KBS’s Monday-Tuesday drama “To All the Guys Who Loved Me” has had to halt all filming after supporting actor Seo Sung Jong tested positive for COVID-19.

On August 19, Osen reported that Seo Sung Jong had tested positive for COVID-19. The report claimed that the actor had begun experiencing symptoms on August 16 and had gotten tested on August 18, with his results coming back on August 19.

A source from the drama confirmed the news that Seo Sung Jong had tested positive for COVID-19 and they explained, “Seo Sung Jong came to the set to film his scenes on August 14. Today, he was informed that he had tested positive for COVID-19. We have halted all filming for the drama, and all those who came into contact with him have been asked to quarantine and get tested.”

“To All the Guys Who Loved Me” has just two episodes left to air, and when asked if this will impact the broadcast schedule of the drama, the source replied, “We are not at the stage to discuss such matters yet. We will release an official statement once we know all of the details.”

“To All the Guys Who Loved Me” stars Hwang Jung Eum, Yoon Hyun Min, and Seo Ji Hoon, and is currently set to air its final episode on August 25.
