The Boyz's Younghoon Transforms Into An Aloof High School Student For 'Love Revolution'

Kakao M’s upcoming original drama “Love Revolution” has revealed new stills of The Boyz’s Younghoon!

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, “Love Revolution” will tell the story of love and friendship among students, centering around the couple Gong Ju Young (Park Ji Hoon) and Wang Ja Rim (Lee Ruby). The webtoon has been much-loved by readers for its witty lines and drawing style since it first began in 2013.

In the drama, Younghoon takes the role of Lee Kyung Woo, the second male lead who is aloof but also playful and sweet at times. On August 19, “Love Revolution” shared a glimpse of his character. Lee Kyung Woo poses in his school uniform and various styles with loose ties, hoodie jackets, and a messenger bag, and his bangs cover his deep, sharp eyes. The stills give a sneak peek of his reserved and indifferent personality even as he does everyday things such as waiting at a bus stop or looking at his phone.

The production team commented, “Younghoon, who is trying his hand at acting for the first time, is charmingly portraying the character of Lee Kyung Woo, who is aloof, warm, and playful. Please look forward to Younghoon’s version of Lee Kyung Woo.”

“Love Revolution” will have 30 episodes that are about 20 minutes long each, and it will be available to watch on Viki.
