Seo Yi Sook Awaiting Results For COVID-19 Test + Her Drama With Suzy And Nam Joo Hyuk Halts Filming

Actress Seo Yi Sook has been tested for COVID-19.

Currently, she is filming a new tvN drama titled “Startup” (tentative title), which stars Suzy and Nam Joo Hyuk as the lead actors.

On August 20, a source from “Startup” shared, “It has been confirmed that Seo Yi Sook has come in contact with actor Heo Dong Won, who recently tested positive for COVID-19. She is currently in self-isolation after undergoing a COVID-19 test. The result will be out tomorrow morning (August 21).”

The source continued, “We also decided not to shoot today (August 20), and we will continue to keep an eye out for any similar issues in the future and do our best for everyone’s safety.”

Previously, it was announced that KBS’s “To All the Guys Who Loved Me” halted filming after actor Seo Sung Jong tested positive for COVID-19. KBS’s upcoming drama “Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” (literal title) revealed that they would also be temporarily pausing filming as a preventative measure as some of the staff members had reportedly worked on both dramas.

Heo Dong Won, who is acting in “Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol,” has also been starring in a play with Seo Sung Jong, through whom he appears to have contracted the virus.
