Former AOA Member Choa Signs With Agency Run By Former FNC Director
Former AOA member Choa has signed with a new agency!
On August 21, entertainment industry sources reported that Choa had joined Great M Entertainment, a new agency that was recently established by Kim Young Sun. Kim Young Sun is a former director and founding member of FNC Entertainment.
AOA debuted under FNC Entertainment and the remaining members continue to be managed by the agency. Choa left FNC Entertainment in 2019 after her contract expired, although she had already left AOA in 2017 after citing mental health issues.
Great M Entertainment confirmed the news about Choa joining them through an official press release. It stated, “Choa recently signed an exclusive contract with the agency. We are happy to be working with Choa, who has a diverse range of talents. Please show a lot of interest and support in Choa’s new start. We will spare no effort in supporting Choa’s diverse promotions.”
Choa had been on an unofficial hiatus from the entertainment industry after leaving AOA and FNC Entertainment. Earlier this month, she signaled a potential return when she sang the OST for the drama “To All the Guys Who Loved Me.”
Through her new agency, Choa stated, “I am sincerely grateful to the fans who waited for me and did not forget me. I will hold that sincerity in my heart as I work.”
CEO Kim Young Sun said, “Our relationship laid its foundations from the time I cast her and developed her talent for her debut. I am looking forward to our future work together.”
