The fourth match-up of Round 1 was between “SSAK3” and “3 Go,” who sang a duet cover of BOL4’s “To My Youth.”
In the end, “3 Go” advanced to the next round with 17 votes to 4. “SSAK3” sang a cover of IU’s “Dear Name” before unmasking to reveal herself as Rocket Punch’s Takahashi Juri!
Juri apologized to Golden Child’s Jibeom, who was a panelist on this week’s episode. “I came as a panelist last time and Jibeom was singing but I didn’t recognize him, so I voted for someone else,” she said. Jibeom then made everyone laugh when he also apologized and said he’d voted for 3 Go as well.
Asked what her favorite Korean phrase is, Juri picked “Back in my day [latte],” which is a popular Korean phrase that plays on the similarities between the Korean phrase for “in my day” and the English word “latte.” This phrase is typically used to make fun of people who often talk about the past.
Juri also shared that her goal is for Rocket Punch to take their first win.
