Watch: Lee Dong Wook's Gumiho Character Wonders If You Really Want To See His World In Chilling 1st Teaser For New Drama

tvN has shared the first teaser video for “Tale of the Nine Tailed,” a much-anticipated drama starring Lee Dong Wook, Jo Bo Ah, Kim Bum, and more.

“Tale of the Nine Tailed” is described as an “urban fantasy drama” and it tells the story of a male gumiho (a mythical nine-tailed fox) named Yi Yeon who has settled in the city (Lee Dong Wook) and the fearless producing director who is determined to hunt him down (Jo Bo Ah). Kim Bum plays Yi Rang, Yi Yeon’s half-brother who was born from a human and gumiho.

The newly released teaser for the show begins with haunting scenes, including Lee Dong Wook slinking around in the dim light in an old building, with black-and-white cuts of an attack and a bloody body. He slips a book off a shelf and loosens his tie, before he steps forward toward the camera. “Do you really want to see the world I live in?” he asks, as the light illuminates his fox-like eyes.

“Tale of the Nine Tailed” will premiere in October as the follow-up to “Flower of Evil.”
