DAY6’s new unit Even of Day has made a splash on the international iTunes charts with their very first release!

On August 31 at 6 p.m. KST, the band’s first-ever unit—which consists of members Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon—made their official debut with the mini album “The Book of Us : Gluon – Nothing can tear us apart,” featuring the title track “Where the Sea Sleeps.”

Shortly after its release, the mini album rose to the top of iTunes charts in various countries all over the world, while its title track “Where the Sea Sleeps” hit No. 1 on multiple domestic realtime charts, including Bugs and Naver Music.

According to JYP Entertainment, as of 9:30 a.m. KST on September 2, “The Book of Us : Gluon – Nothing can tear us apart” had hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 11 different regions, including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and more.
