JTBC Dramas Resume Filming + Broadcast Dates Under Discussion

JTBC dramas are resuming production after being put on hold to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

On September 4, a source from JTBC stated, “The upcoming drama ‘Private Life’ has resumed filming for scenes that can be filmed while following guidelines about preventing transmission.”

In August, several dramas shut down production after a few dramas had confirmed cases of COVID-19. “Private Life” (working title) shut down production to await the test results of a staff member, who had worked on the set of another drama that had a confirmed case of COVID-19.

“Private Life” stars Go Kyung Pyo and Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun in a story about con artists who use their skills to uncover the nation’s “private life.” It was scheduled to premiere on September 16, but the broadcast date is now under review.

Other JTBC dramas that shut down production include “18 Again,” “More than Friends,” “Run On,” “Live On,” and “All of Us Are Dead.”

“18 Again was scheduled to premiere on September 7. Although filming has resumed, the broadcast date is also now under review.

“More than Friends” has resumed filming and its premiere date was pushed back from September 18 to September 25.

“More than Friends” will be available on Viki. Check out a teaser below!
