3 Times Kim Min Jae Made Viewers' Hearts Flutter In The First 2 Episodes Of "Do You Like Brahms?"
Just two episodes into his new drama, Kim Min Jae is already sweeping viewers off their feet!
SBS’s “Do You Like Brahms?” is a drama that tells the story of classical music students chasing love, happiness, and their dreams. Kim Min Jae stars as world-renowned pianist Park Joon Young, who is the first Korean to win an award at the International Frederick Chopin Piano Competition.
In addition to his mesmerizing musical talent, Kim Min Jae’s character has also stolen viewers’ hearts with his sweet and caring personality. Here are three ways (so far!) in which Kim Min Jae has made viewers’ hearts flutter:
1. When he quietly helps out in a precarious situation
When the conductor angrily kicked out Chae Song Ah (played by Park Eun Bin) in front of the entire orchestra, Park Joon Young knocked his book off the piano in an attempt to divert the conductor’s attention. However, Chae Song Ah was ultimately still kicked out, and Park Joon Young later witnessed her in a different uncomfortable situation. A friend asked Chae Song Ah how their performance went, and to help her avoid any awkward explanations, Park Joon Young jumped in to tell her, “You worked hard today.” He then left the friends to chat on their own.
2. When he makes comments that raise Chae Song Ah’s self-esteem
Regarding her proposal for their ensemble performance, Chae Song Ah shyly commented, “Anyone could write this.” Park Joon Young responded, “This is impressive. If anyone can write it, does everyone actually do it?” Hearing these uplifting comments had viewers smiling just as brightly as Chae Song Ah!
3. When he shows off his considerate side
After Chae Song Ah spilled her coffee, Park Joon Young noticed how little she had left to drink after handing out the untouched cups of coffee to everyone else and leaving herself the one that spilled the most. The realization made Park Joon Young switch their coffee cups, then quickly take a sip out of hers in case she protested. Despite not even being a coffee drinker, he also told Chae Song Ah, “I drink it occasionally these days,” so that she wouldn’t feel bad.
Kim Min Jae’s good looks and attractive voice, combined with his sweet and charismatic character, already have viewers captivated by Park Joon Young’s romance with Chae Song Ah. Online, viewers have been reacting with comments like “I’ve fallen for Kim Min Jae in just two episodes” and “Joon Young’s subtle consideration makes my heart flutter.”
The next episode of SBS’s “Do You Like Brahms?” airs on September 7 at 10 p.m. KST.
