Im Siwan In Talks To Star In New Thriller Film

Im Siwan may be starring in a new film!

On September 7, Star News reported that Im Siwan and Kim Hee Won were in talks to star in the upcoming film “Smartphone” (working title).

Following reports, a source from Im Siwan’s agency Plum Actors confirmed, “Im Siwan has received the offer to star in the film ‘Smartphone,’ and he is currently reviewing the offer.”

Helmed by director Kim Tae Joon, “Smartphone” will be a thriller that unfolds after an ordinary office worker loses his smartphone. Im Siwan is in talks to play the office worker, and the reports also added that Kim Hee Won is in talks to star as the detective who tracks the case.

Currently, Im Siwan has many projects lined up including including the films “Boston 1947” and “Declaration of Emergency” (literal titles) and an upcoming JTBC drama. Kim Hee Won’s upcoming films “Collateral” (literal title) and “The Golden Holiday” are also slated to premiere soon.

According to the reports, “Smartphone” will begin filming early next year after casting is finalized.
