Watch: Shin Sung Rok And Lee Se Young Race Against Time In 1st Teaser For Upcoming Drama

MBC has released the first teaser for the upcoming drama “Kairos” (literal title).

“Kairos” will be a “time-crossing fantasy thriller” that tells the story of Kim Seo Jin (Shin Sung Rok), a man who falls into despair after his daughter is kidnapped, and Han Ae Ri (Lee Se Young), a woman who lives one month in the past from the time Kim Seo Jin is living in and is searching for her missing mother.

The teaser begins with Kim Seo Jin narrating, “You can’t undo what’s already been done. I always thought that way,” as short clips of Kim Seo Jin’s and Han Ae Ri’s shocked expressions flash across the screen. A cell phone vibrates on a desk as the caption in between the scenes reads, “An opportunity or a special time.”

Han Ae Ri then says, “I saw it. There was another strange man,” while Kim Seo Jin pleads, “I can undo it.” Over a scene in which Han Ae Ri edits a flyer for a missing child, she also comments that although it’s currently August, the date that appears is September.

Next, a caption that reads, “The one minute that will change everything,” intersects a scene of Han Ae Ri walking down the hallway in a prisoner’s uniform. The teaser comes to an end as Kim Seo Jin says in desperation, “Han Ae Ri, you will save my life, and I will save yours.”

“Kairos” premieres on October 26 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
