CLC More Than Triples Their Own 1st-Week Sales Record With "Helicopter"

CLC is soaring to new heights with their latest release!

Last week, CLC made their long-awaited return with their new single “Helicopter,” and the album has now officially achieved the group’s highest first-week sales to date.

On September 10, Hanteo Chart announced that in the week since its release on September 2, the single album had sold a total of 12,834 copies—a figure over 3.5 times higher than CLC’s previous first-week sales record of 3,574 (set by their mini album “No. 1,” which they released in January 2019).

CLC’s music video for “Helicopter” has also been setting new personal records for the group: the video hit 10 million views on YouTube in less than 36 hours, then went on to reach 20 million views in less than four days. As of 6 p.m. KST on September 9 (exactly 7 days after its initial release), the music video had already surpassed 25 million views on the platform.
