Suzy Makes Generous Donation To Help Children Affected By COVID-19 Pandemic

Suzy recently made a generous donation to a meaningful cause!

On September 11, the Babo Nanum Foundation revealed that Suzy had donated 50 million won (approximately $42,100) to its “Stars Filled with Dreams” campaign, which is dedicated to helping children in need pursue their dreams through education.

According to the foundation, Suzy was deeply concerned by how the COVID-19 pandemic was adversely affecting children and youth who were already facing financial hardship. In accordance with her wishes, her donation will be used to support the education of youth in low-income households, in the hopes that they will be able to continue pursuing their dreams.

Suzy has often made generous donations and shown support for many charitable causes over the course of her career. Just this year alone, she previously donated 100 million won (approximately $84,200) to the NGO Good Neighbors to help low-income families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, 100 million won to the Korea Disaster Relief Association to aid those impacted by flooding, and 50 million won to the Taekwondo Federation of Happiness Sharing Community. She also recently pledged to donate all of the proceeds from her beauty book “Obsession with Suzy” to help young women in need.
