Upcoming Drama "More Than Friends" Reveals Snapshots Of Ong Seong Wu And Shin Ye Eun's Relationship Through The Years
Upcoming JTBC drama “More Than Friends” has unveiled new stills of Ong Seong Wu and Shin Ye Eun.
“More Than Friends” will tell the story of two close friends who both fall in unrequited love with one another over the course of 10 years. Shin Ye Eun will star as Kyung Woo Yeon, a girl who decides to give up on her one-sided love for her guy friend after a decade of pining. Meanwhile, Ong Seong Wu will play Lee Soo, the longtime object of Kyung Woo Yeon’s affection, who suddenly starts seeing her in a different light after years of friendship.
In the new stills, we see snapshots of Kyung Woo Yeon (Shin Ye Eun) and Lee Soo (Ong Seong Wu) from their relationship over the years. The first still shows the two as students in high school, sitting side by side as they listen to music together, seemingly lost in their own thoughts.
In the second photo, some time has passed, and Lee Soo is crouched on the ground looking up at Woo Yeon, as she bends down to look intently in his eyes.
Even more time has gone by in the third photo, and the two remain together. Sitting in a grassy field with some drinks, Soo hands Woo Yeon a compass.
Though the relationship between the two seems to remain unchanged, the photos show a subtle transition through the ages, heightening anticipation as to the evolution of Soo and Woo Yeon’s relationship in the drama.
A source from the drama said, “Please tune in to see what kind of changes come to Lee Soo and Kyung Woo Yeon as they spend a hectic youth together. At each point of change in their relationship, there will be unexpected, entertaining episodes that unfold.
“More Than Friends” premieres September 25 at 11 p.m. KST.
