Former AOA Member Choa Shares Update In 1st Instagram Post In Over A Year
Choa has returned to Instagram with a welcome update!
The singer has been away from social media for a while, and fans are thrilled to see her back. The previous most recent post on Choa’s account is dated March 2019, when Choa posted to thank everyone for their birthday wishes, and her previous post before that was for her birthday the year prior.
On September 18, Choa posted on Instagram to say:
Hello. This is Choa.
Have you been well?
I feel a bit awkward since I’m posting on Instagram for the first time in years.
Thanks to the people who’ve been worrying about me during that time,
I’ve been taking good care of my health,
and I’ve been feeling really grateful
for the people who continue to support me.
Recently, I filmed a YouTube video
in order to gradually show good sides of myself.
I’m uploading my first video tomorrow,
and I hope you’ll look upon it well, even though it’s not perfect.
Please keep your strength up during this difficult time and take care of your health.
Thank you!
Choa debuted with AOA in 2012 and departed from the group in 2017, sharing about dealing with mental health issues. She left FNC Entertainment in 2019 after her contract expired, and it was announced last month that Choa has joined the new agency Great M Entertainment.
Since leaving AOA and FNC, Choa has been on an unofficial hiatus from the industry, but she began her new start by releasing an OST last month for the drama “To All the Guys Who Loved Me.”
