Seo Ye Ji Talks About How Her Drama "It's Okay To Not Be Okay" Helped Her Heal
In a recent interview and pictorial for Harper’s Bazaar magazine, Seo Ye Ji shared her thoughts on her experience filming her hit drama “It’s Okay to Not be Okay.”
The actress spoke of her character Go Moon Young with deep affection, explaining, “For the past few months, I lived my life as Moon Young.” She went on to share that playing the role of Go Moon Young, a storybook writer with a painful past, had affected her personally on an emotional level.
“Through the character of Moon Young, who faced her trauma and healed her wounds, I personally underwent a lot of healing as well,” said Seo Ye Ji. “It was definitely a struggle, but it also made me that much happier. I think she will remain my memory as a character who continued to grow on her own.”
When asked if she had ever experienced a moment in her life that felt like something out of a storybook, Seo Ye Ji replied, “I’m not sure if I’ve had one yet. I think that a ‘storybook-like moment’ can be both good or bad; it all depends on how you feel and the situation.”
She added, “Maybe if I live a bit longer, I’ll be able to experience a moment like that. I’ll look forward to it.”
