BTS's 'Dynamite' Rises To No. 1 On Billboard's New Global 200 Excl. U.S. Chart + BLACKPINK's 'Ice Cream' Takes No. 9

Billboard has released this week’s Top 10 on its new charts that rank songs based on international streaming and sales!

Last week, Billboard and MRC launched two new weekly charts to rank the most popular tracks globally: the Billboard Global 200 chart and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart.

The charts are both based on sales and streaming data from more than 200 territories, and the rankings are determined by a weighted formula that combines official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of leading digital platforms with downloads from major online music retailers around the world.

The Billboard Global 200 chart includes data from all around the world, while the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart features data from territories excluding the United States.

BTS’s “Dynamite” holds No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200 this week, with 79.1 million global streams and 29,000 global downloads in the week ending September 17. Cardi B’s “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion remains in No. 1. Once again, “WAP” was the most-streamed track of the week internationally while “Dynamite” was the top-selling title.

Meanwhile, “Dynamite” rises from No. 2 to No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 Excl. U.S., up from No. 2 last week. It had 67.4 million streams and 18,000 downloads sold in territories outside the United States in the week ending September 17.

BLACKPINK and Selena Gomez’s “Ice Cream” takes No. 9 this week on the Billboard Global 200 Excl. U.S., after its No. 6 ranking last week.

The full Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts dated September 26 will be released on Billboard’s website on September 22.
