SHINee's Key To Be Discharged Directly From Final Leave According To Military's COVID-19 Protocol

SHINee’s Key is being discharged from the military in accordance with COVID-19 protocol.

On September 24, a source from SM Entertainment stated, “Key is currently on his final leave, and he will be discharged on October 7 without returning to the base according to guidelines to be discharged without returning to the military base to prevent the spread of COVID-19. There will be no separate discharge event.”

Key enlisted in the military on March 4, 2019, and he carried out his military duties as a member of the military band. Key is the second member to complete his military training after Onew. SHINee’s Minho is currently serving in the military.

Recently, BTOB‘s Changsub was discharged in a similar manner, and 2AM’s Jeong Jinwoon will also be discharged on October 7 without returning to the base.
