GOT7 won two trophies from the LINE Thailand People’s Choice Awards 2020!

During the ceremony on September 22 local time that was held at CentralWorld in Bangkok, GOT7 was named the winners of the awards for Artist of the Year and Most Downloaded Official Stickers.

Fans have been loving the “GOT7 with I GOT7” stickers on the global messenger app LINE ever since they came out in November 2019, and they’re the most downloaded stickers on LINE Thailand.

GOT7 couldn’t attend the ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but they shared their thanks via video messages. They said, “This award is even more of an honor and carries more meaning because we’re receiving it thanks to our fans. Just the fact that the ‘GOT7 with I GOT7’ official LINE stickers were released made us happy, but we’re really pleased that so many people like them. We sincerely thank you for always watching over us with love, and we’ll make up for all your love by working harder.”

GOT7 also recently proved their global popularity when they came in third on the list of the most-mentioned K-pop artists on Twitter during the period of July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020. They’re also the third most-followed K-pop group on Twitter, with over 8.5 million followers. In addition, they received a nomination this week for Top Social Artist at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards.
