The Boyz Tops iTunes Charts Around The World With "Chase" And "The Stealer"
The Boyz is making a splash on music charts all over the world with their latest release!
On September 21 at 6 p.m. KST, The Boyz made their highly-anticipated return with their new mini album “Chase,” featuring the title track “The Stealer.” Notably, the release marked their very first comeback since winning Mnet’s “Road to Kingdom” earlier this year.
Immediately upon its release, “The Stealer” rose to the top of multiple domestic realtime charts: the new song hit No. 1 on Bugs, No. 3 on Genie, and No. 5 on Melon. Additionally, all six of the mini album’s tracks made it onto the charts—a strong indicator of the group’s rise in popularity. According to Hanteo Chart data, “Chase” also managed to break The Boyz’s personal record for first-week album sales in just three days.
Outside of Korea, the new mini album and its accompanying title track also soared to the top of iTunes charts in various countries all over the world. Less than 24 hours after its release, “Chase” had already reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least nine different countries, including Brazil, Chile, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, and the Netherlands.
