BLACKPINK's Jisoo's Guest Appearance On "Delicious Rendezvous" Sets New Personal Record For Show

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo‘s upcoming appearance on SBS’s “Delicious Rendezvous” has already helped set a new personal record for the show!

“Delicious Rendezvous” is a popular cooking variety show with a star-studded cast that includes Super Junior‘s Kim Heechul, ZE:A’s Kim Dong Jun, Yang Se Hyung, and Yoo Byung Jae. Led by celebrity chef Baek Jong Won, the cast members highlight different locally grown specialty ingredients each week as they develop new recipes and cook up a variety of dishes.

Jisoo will be appearing as a guest on the October 1 episode of the hit show, and during filming, she took part in the program’s signature “Delicious Shopping Live” broadcast. The show’s live home shopping broadcasts feature the cast selling a specific local specialty to viewers in order to help out local farmers, and they already have an impressive record of consistently selling out their product each week.

However, Jisoo’s appearance catapulted the viewer count for the show’s live broadcast to a new all-time high, leading more people to tune in than ever before. According to the program’s producers, well over 60,000 simultaneous viewers watched the second half of the live broadcast.

On the upcoming episode of the variety show, novice chef Jisoo will help the cast uncover the charms of a specific type of squash (that literally translates to “crooked squash”), and under the instruction of chef Baek Jong Won, she will valiantly try her hand at flipping squash pancakes in a frying pan for the very first time.
