Watch: Park Bo Gum And Park So Dam Dance In The Rain Behind The Scenes Of "Record Of Youth"

tvN’s “Record of Youth” has released a behind-the-scenes look at the latest episodes!

The drama is about young people who struggle for their dreams and their love amidst the harsh realities of the modeling industry. Park Bo Gum stars as Sa Hye Joon, an aspiring actor and model, and Park So Dam stars as Ahn Jung Ha, an aspiring makeup artist.

The video begins with Park Bo Gum rehearsing a scene with Lee Jae Won, who plays Sa Hye Joon’s older brother. When told to make a phone call to his realtor, Lee Jae Won puts his hand to his ear and jokingly tries to order food for delivery instead. He later tells Park Bo Gum, “If I practice too much, I end up only thinking of my ad-libs.” However, no matter how many jokes the pair make, they immediately immerse themselves in their roles the moment the cameras start rolling.

Next, Seo Hyun Jin introduces herself and speaks about her special appearance as a senior actress in the recent episode. She shares her thoughts on the drama, saying, “The atmosphere on-set was really good, and I think it’s a drama full of good energy and youthful characters.” She goes on to praise Park Bo Gum and the director, saying that everyone treated her well. Park Bo Gum then speaks about his scene with Seo Hyun Jin, noting that he was nervous since it was his first time acting with her, but he enjoyed the filming.

Park Bo Gum and Seo Hyun Jin then rehearse their noteworthy scene in which Park Bo Gum’s character asks her out on a date. After being rejected, Park Bo Gum turns to go through a pair of automatic sliding doors, but the doors don’t open. He knocks politely on the doors, eliciting laughter from the surrounding staff. Afterwards, the director compliments Park Bo Gum on his clever idea.

The video then goes on to show a scene in which Sa Hye Joon is surrounded by fans after his successful drama appearance. Park Bo Gum says with a laugh, “I feel really good, like I really became a top star.” Shin Dong Mi, who plays Sa Hye Joon’s manager Lee Min Jae, plays along as she replies, “Of course, our Hye Joon is a top star.” One of the extra cast members shyly compliments Shin Dong Mi, calling her pretty, and the actress responds gratefully, adding, “This young person is looking at me like my mother would,” which makes Park Bo Gum laugh. They film the scene in a light-hearted manner as Shin Dong Mi continues to brighten up the atmosphere with her congenial demeanor.

The next clip shows Sa Hye Joon at dinner with his friends, including Ahn Jung Ha, Won Hae Hyo (played by Byun Woo Seok), and others. Before the filming begins, the actors work together to decide which food to pick up during the scene. After filming a tense scene in which he bumps shoulders with Seol In Ah, who plays Sa Hye Joon’s ex-girlfriend Jung Ji Ah, Park Bo Gum immediately runs back to apologize.

The making-of video wraps up with Park Bo Gum and Park So Dam filming a sweet scene in which they dance together in the rain. Park So Dam says she didn’t prepare anything special for the scene, explaining, “I’m just planning on embracing the atmosphere together with Hye Joon.” After filming various takes running around and dancing in a grassy field, Park Bo Gum comments, “I wonder what I should do to best display the beautiful moments of Hye Joon’s and Jung Ha’s youth. It’s difficult. I hope it will come out well!”
