'Homemade Love Story' Shares A Look At Characters' Complicated Relationships

Homemade Love Story” has shared a look at the various relationships that are blossoming in the drama!

The KBS 2TV drama is about the various stories that take place inside the Samkwang Villa. It is a family drama centered around the villa’s owner, Lee Soon Jung (Jeon In Hwa), who welcomes everyone to her table. Lee Jang Woo stars as a detail-oriented architect named Woo Jae Hee, and Jin Ki Joo co-stars as Lee Bit Chae Woon, who has to shoulder the responsibility of taking care of her family.

From the vibrant energy of the lead couple Woo Jae Hae and Lee Bit Chae Woon to the sweet young romance of Lee Ra Hoon (Ryeoun) and Cha Ba Reun (Kim Shi Eun), here’s a look at the progression of the relationships in the drama.

Woo Jae Hee, Lee Bit Chae Woon, Jang Seo Ah, and Hwang Na Ro

As if seeing each other every day wasn’t enough, Woo Jae Hee and Lee Bit Chae Woon even go home from work together, filling their days with lovey-dovey bickering. However, their romance might not be guaranteed smooth sailing due to Jang Seo Ah (Han Bo Reum), who keeps sticking by Woo Jae Hee’s side. Although she has been hinting at her feelings for him since they were young, he refused to see her as anything more than his friend’s little sister. On top of that, she was also involved in a school violence case that caused Lee Bit Chae Woon to drop out of middle school. The pair now work at the same company as boss and employee, adding fuel to the fire of their ill-fated relationship.

Hwang Na Ro (Jeon Sung Woo) complicated the story further when he set his sights on Lee Bit Chae Woon after realizing that the wealthy CEO of LX Fashion is her birth mother. He moved into the Samkwang Villa to get closer to her, but Woo Jae Hee began to regard him with suspicion. In return, Hwang Na Ro also raised his guard against Woo Jae Hee. It remains to be seen who will become the happy couple among these tangled relationships.

Lee Man Jung and Kim Hwak Se

Lee Man Jung (Kim Sun Young) and Kim Hwak Se (In Gyo Jin) have been providing viewers with plenty of laughs thanks to their give-and-take dynamic. Lee Man Jung ended up living in Samkwang Villa after losing both her job and her apartment, and took to drinking her problems away. She grew close to Kim Hwak Se after he attempted to scare her while she was drunk and stumbling around, but she ended up startling him when she turned around and screamed. Afterwards, Kim Hwak Se turned serious as he asked her if she needed any help. Kim Hwak Se now regards her with sympathy, having listened to her story over drinks and carried her home numerous times.

Lee Ra Hoon and Cha Ba Reun

The young couple Lee Ra Hoon and Cha Ba Reun have been stealing viewers’ hearts with their innocent appearances. Lee Ra Hoon, who has been lying to his family by pretending to attend a prestigious university, eventually ended up setting foot in the classroom to keep up his facade. It was there that he saw Cha Ba Reun and fell in love with her at first sight. Unable to keep his mind off her, he signed up for a school club and fell for her all over again. At one point, burdened by the increasing weight of his lies, Lee Ra Hoon made up his mind to leave. In a fiery confession, Cha Ba Reun then boldly asked him not to disappear, explaining, “Because I like you.” Although Lee Ra Hoon stepped back from her advances, viewers were overjoyed with the development.
