(G)I-DLE's Soojin To Sit Out '2020 SUPER ON:TACT' Performance Due To Ankle Injury

(G)I-DLE’s Soojin will not be performing at SBS’s “2020 SUPER ON:TACT” due to an ankle injury.

On October 16, Cube Entertainment released the following statement via the fan platform U CUBE:

Hello,

This is Cube Entertainment.

This is a notice about (G)I-DLE member Soojin’s ankle injury.

Soojin sprained her ankle during choreography practice, and she visited the hospital to receive an examination and medical treatment.

The examination from medical staff showed that she had pulled her ankle ligaments, and she is planning to minimize movement based on the medical staff’s recommendation to wear a cast and protective pads until she recovers.

For the ‘2020 SUPER ON:TACT’ scheduled for October 18, only five members will participate, without Soojin. We ask for fans’ kind understanding on this necessary change that means they will not be able to perform as a full group.

(Soojin will still participate in the fan event.)

Furthermore, our artist will participate in future events that are appropriate for her recovering health. We will do our best to help our artist recover as soon as possible.

Thank you.

“2020 SUPER ON:TACT” is a series of online concerts that began on September 27, with the next and final event being on October 18 at 8 p.m. KST.
