IZ*ONE Breaks Record For K-Pop Girl Groups With 1st Day Sales On Oricon's Daily Album Chart
IZ*ONE made history for K-pop girl groups with their first day album sales on Oricon!
On October 21, IZ*ONE released their first Japanese full album “Twelve,” which features the title track “Beware.”
On the daily albums chart for October 20 of Japan’s largest music statistics site Oricon, “Twelve” takes No. 1 with 124,178 estimated sales.
The previous highest record for a K-pop girl group on Oricon’s daily album chart since the ranking began in 2008 was held by TWICE’s album “#TWICE2,” which sold 95,825 units in its first day.
