'The Spies Who Loved Me' Starts Off With Promising Viewership Ratings

A new drama premiered in the Wednesday-Thursday evening time slot!

MBC’s new drama, “The Spies Who Loved Me,” starring Shinhwa’s Eric, Yoo In Na, and Im Joo Hwan, made its premiere on October 21. According to Nielsen Korea, the premiere recorded average nationwide ratings of 3.7 and 4.3 percent.

This is a slight decrease from the finale ratings (3.9 and 5.0 percent) of its predecessor, “When I Was the Most Beautiful,” but an improvement over the premiere ratings (2.4 and 2.9 percent) of that previous drama, marking a promising start for the new drama.

On KBS, “Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol” recorded ratings of 2.3 and 2.7 percent, continuing its run in the 2 percent range. On JTBC, “Private Lives” recorded its lowest-ever ratings to date with 1.721 percent.

On tvN, “Tale of the Nine-Tailed” stayed strong in the lead with 5.100 percent.
