SM Entertainment has just set the internet abuzz with a mysterious new teaser!
On October 26 KST, SM Entertainment’s official Twitter account retweeted two posts from a brand-new Twitter account for something called “aespa.” In addition to a stylish new logo for aespa, SM Entertainment unveiled a dramatic “aespa: INTRO” teaser clip, prompting a flurry of speculation about what the agency has in store.
Eagle-eyed fans also recognized the logo from the ending shot of SuperM’s recent “One (Monster & Infinity)” music video, which Taemin teased in their reaction video was a “big spoiler.”
The agency is definitely gearing up for something big: SM Entertainment has already changed their official YouTube channel’s header to the aespa logo, and they shared the new logo and video clip on their official Instagram account as well.
Many fans are currently speculating that aespa may be the name of SM Entertainment’s highly-anticipated new girl group, which the agency stated last year would be debuting sometime in 2020.
