New Rom-Com Starring Song Ha Yoon, Lee Jun Young, Yoon Bomi, And More Confirms Premiere Date

MBC Every1’s new drama “Please Don’t Date Him” will be premiering next month!

“Please Don’t Date Him” is a romantic comedy about women who own a stethoscope that allows them to distinguish men they shouldn’t date. With elements of artificial intelligence (AI), the drama will be a relatable story for people who want to find love but avoid picking the “wrong answer.”

The drama, which has been confirmed to premiere on November 10, also revealed pictures from the first script reading with the cast members including Song Ha Yoon, U-KISS’s Lee Jun Young, Apink’s Yoon Bomi, Gong Min Jung, Joo Woo Jae, Kim Gi Ri, and more.

Song Ha Yoon will play the lead role of Seo Ji Sung, a programmer on the AI Smart Home Appliance Development team who does her best when it comes to both work and love. The actress led the script reading with her lovable and realistic acting.

Lee Jun Young will be playing Jung Kook Hee, a unique firefighter who doesn’t experience any discomfort from not owning a smartphone. With his experienced acting skills, Lee Jun Young raised anticipation for the adorable romantic chemistry between his character and Seo Ji Sung.

With her bright and energetic charm, Yoon Bomi will take on the role of Moon Ye Seul, one of the three women leading the story who also falls in love easily. Despite her difficult relationships, she’s a character who doesn’t lose her trademark energy.

Gong Min Jung will play the unique café owner Tak Ki Hyun. Having starred in the drama “Familiar Wife” and the film “Kim Ji Young, Born 1982,” Gong Min Jung will showcase her acting skills again through the upcoming drama. Viewers are already anticipating her character’s close friendship chemistry with Seo Ji Sung and Moon Ye Seul.

Furthermore, Joo Woo Jae will play the dentist Han Yoo Jin, and the drama will star talented actors Kim Kyung Il, Kim Gi Ri, Lee Si Hoon, Hwang Young Hee, and Jung In Ki.

The script reading took place amidst a refreshing and heart-fluttering atmosphere, and the actors exuded great passion as they immersed themselves into their roles. MBC Every1’s “Please Don’t Date Him” will premiere on November 10 at 10:50 p.m. KST. Starting November 16, it will air on MBC every Monday at 10:40 p.m. KST.
