Watch: Jo Byeong Gyu Makes Shocking Transformation Into A Demon Hunter In Upcoming OCN Drama Teaser

OCN’s upcoming drama “The Uncanny Counter” revealed a new teaser starring Jo Byeong Gyu!

Based on the webtoon, “The Uncanny Counter” tells the story of demon hunting “counters” who disguise themselves as employees of a noodle restaurant to find and defeat demons. The story will cover the battle between evil spirits that come down to Earth for eternal life and counters that are equipped with various abilities like psychometry and healing.

Jo Byeong Gyu will play the role of the elite counter So Moon, and gugudan‘s Kim Sejeong will play Do Ha Na, the best human radar among counters who boasts a 100 percent accurate evil spirit detection rate.

The newly released teaser begins with a look at So Moon’s high school uniform, crutch, and scarred leg. As he exits the noodle shop, a shocked Ga Mo Tak (Yoo Joon Sang) asks, “What? You’re a high school student?” The teaser then flashes the description, “A high school part-timer at a noodle restaurant. Special student rookie counter So Moon.”

Although So Moon is limping outside the noodle restaurant, the next scene shows him running fast and even jumping on walls. Ga Mo Tak asks, “Can you do it?” and So Moon replies, “I’ll try it—becoming a counter.”
