Update: VIXX's N Leaves Jellyfish Entertainment And Signs With Actor Agency 51k + Will Continue VIXX Group Activities

On November 3, a source from the agency shared with Star News, “We have signed an exclusive contract with VIXX’s N.”

Jellyfish Entertainment has confirmed that VIXX’s N will not be renewing his contract with the agency, although he will continue to promote with VIXX for group activities.

On November 3, Jellyfish issued the following statement:

Hello, this is Jellyfish Entertainment.

First, we would like to sincerely thank all the fans who have loved and supported our agency’s artist, VIXX.

On October 31, Jellyfish’s exclusive contract with N expired. After a long period of serious discussions between N and the agency, both sides decided that the contract would not be renewed. However, as a VIXX member for eight years, he intends to keep working with the group for music promotions.

We would like to sincerely thank N for the mutual trust that has built up between us over the long period we have worked together. Jellyfish sincerely cheers on N in his future activities.

We ask that you look forward to his future activities with much interest and support as he starts a new chapter of his career.

Earlier, Sports DongA reported that N would be signing with 51k, an agency that houses 2PM’s Taecyeon and So Ji Sub, though this report has not yet been confirmed.

In May 2019, Jellyfish announced that Leo, Ken, Hongbin, and Hyuk had renewed their contracts, while Ravi would leave in order to establish his own label. At the time, Ravi also signaled his intention to keep promoting with VIXX for group activities. In August 2020, Hongbin left VIXX and Jellyfish Entertainment.

VIXX’s N was discharged from his mandatory military service on October 7.
