NCT DREAM Becomes 1st Asian Artist To Make Billboard's '21 Under 21' List For 3 Years In A Row

NCT DREAM has made Billboard’s “21 Under 21” list for the third consecutive year!

On November 6 local time, Billboard published this year’s “21 Under 21” list, its annual selection of the 21 young artists that had the most impact on the industry in the 12 preceding months. The 2020 list, which included singers like Billie Eilish, Koffee, 24kGoldn, and Noah Cyrus, was chosen by a committee of Billboard editors and reporters, who considered factors such as artists’ “impact on consumer behavior,” “career trajectory,” “reputation among peers,” and more.

Not only was NCT DREAM the only K-pop artist on this year’s list, but with their inclusion in the latest ranking, they are now the first Asian artist ever to make the list for three years in a row.

Billboard noted that NCT DREAM’s latest mini album “Reload” had catapulted them to the top of Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart earlier this year—and that NCT’s second full-length album “RESONANCE Pt. 1” had recently hit No. 6 on the Billboard 200 and No. 1 on its World Albums chart.

Congratulations to NCT DREAM!
