Nam Joo Hyuk Sweetly Comforts A Tearful Suzy In "Start-Up"

tvN’s “Start-Up” has revealed heartwarming new stills of Nam Joo Hyuk and Suzy ahead of tonight’s episode!

“Start-Up” takes place in a fictional South Korean version of Silicon Valley where young dreamers set out to achieve success in the world of startup companies. Suzy stars as Seo Dal Mi, an adventurer who dreams of becoming Korea’s Steve Jobs, while Nam Joo Hyuk plays the role of Samsan Tech founder Nam Do San.

In the previous episode, Samsan Tech CEO Seo Dal Mi went to visit the president of Morning Group in order to secure investment funds, but was turned down and insulted for her company’s status as a start-up. Witnessing the scene, Nam Do San told the president, “Shut up,” and smashed his nameplate in anger. Later, Nam Do San and Seo Dal Mi shared their first kiss after realizing that they both stood on the same side, marking the beginning of their romance.

As the new couple sets out to achieve success in their work and find love through their newfound relationship, the new stills reveal that difficult times still lie ahead. Usually not one to be easily swayed by adversity, Seo Dal Mi sheds tears as she reveals her sadness. She looks up at Nam Do San, who smiles encouragingly at her as he cradles her face in his hands. He holds her by the shoulders as she leans into him for comfort, leading viewers to wonder what could have happened to bring the unshakable Seo Dal Mi to tears.

The next episode of “Start-Up” airs on November 8 at 9 p.m. KST.
