Watch: Divorced Star Couples To Reunite On New Reality Show + Preview Tense Relationships In New Teaser
TV Chosun is launching a new variety program starring divorced couples called “We Got Divorced.”
“We Got Divorced” is a variety show featuring divorced star couples who will reunite and live together for a few days. The program will look at social distancing in a new light, transforming the distance caused by divorce into the natural space people need in relationships. Instead of aiming for the couples to get back together, this “real-time drama” looks at the potential of friendships between past couples.
The first couples featured will be actors Lee Young Ha and Sun Woo Eun Sook as well as YouTubers Choi Go Gi and Yoo Catnip. Shin Dong Yup and Kim Won Hee will work together for the first time in 13 years as hosts of the show.
Lee Young Ha and Sun Woo Eun Sook were married for 26 years but got a divorce in 2007 and have been living the past 13 years as strangers. After four years of marriage, Choi Go Gi and Yoo Catnip have now been divorced for seven months.
In the first teaser, Lee Young Ha and Sun Woo Eun Sook spend time together without their kids for the first time in 13 years. After all this time, they discuss the real reason behind their divorce and other happenings throughout their marriage.
The vibe is completely different between the YouTuber couple who engage in energetic banter and tease their 19+ conversation. Choi Go Gi later asks Yoo Catnip, “How were you when we got divorced?” She answers, “I liked it” and he coldly responds, “I guess you’ll live alone forever.”

The producer of “We Got Divorced” shared, “‘We Got Divorced’ is the first in our country to look deeply within the relationship between divorced couples to allow them time to heal and forgive. Watching them form a new relationship will convey a story even more real than a drama. They also commented, “Please watch upon our main characters warmly, as it was not easy for them to tell their stories. They will present viewers a meaningful and precious time.”
“We Got Divorced” is the creation of producing director Lee Gook Yong of “Taste of Love” and writer Jung Sun Young of KBS’s “2 Days 1 Night.” The program premieres on November 20 at 10 p.m. KST.
