On November 17, MyDaily reported that IZ*ONE will make their comeback on December 7 and reveal their song for the first time at the 2020 Mnet Asian Music Awards (2020 MAMA) on December 6.
Following the report, a source from Swing Entertainment stated, “IZ*ONE’s comeback is confirmed for December 7.” No statement was shared about the group performing their comeback track at 2020 MAMA.
Meanwhile, there were rumors that IZ*ONE would be disbanding next April, but IZ*ONE’s reps shared that nothing was decided yet.

IZ*ONE is making a comeback before the end of 2020!
On November 10, JoyNews24 reported that IZ*ONE would be making a comeback in December. According to the report, IZ*ONE was currently in the final stages of preparation to release new music in December.
Later, IZ*ONE’s agency confirmed the news and stated, “They are working hard in order to return with a good image.”
IZ*ONE’s last comeback was in June with “Oneiric Diary” and title track “Secret Story of the Swan.” That album broke the group’s own record for highest first-week album sales among K-pop girl groups.
In October, IZ*ONE released their first full Japanese album, “Twelve,” which received gold certification in Japan. It also broke the record for highest first-day sales by a K-pop group since the Oricon daily album chart was launched in 2008.
