BOL4's Ahn Ji Young To Take Hiatus Due To Health Issues

BOL4’s Ahn Ji Young will be taking a break to focus on treatment for anxiety.

On November 11, her agency issued the following statement:

Hello. This is Shofar Music.

We are presenting our official statement regarding the health of our agency’s artist BOL4’s Ji Young and her future activities.

Due to Ji Young’s health getting worse and symptoms of anxiety, she has visited a specialist medical center since the first half of this year, and she has been receiving treatment through psychotherapy and prescribed medication.

However, because her anxiety symptoms have worsened recently, it was decided that it would be difficult for her to perform her activities as normal for the time being, and it’s become difficult for her to carry out promotions for her single album “Filmlet.”

Our agency considers our artist’s health to be the first priority and so it was decided that she will be resting and focusing on her treatment. We plan to postpone her promotions temporarily until she recovers.

We are very sorry for causing concern to fans and everyone with this sudden news. We ask that you refrain from speculation or misunderstandings about her health or promotions.

Our agency will do our best so that Ji Young can recover her health, and we ask you to please continue to warmly support her until she returns in good health.

Ahn Ji Young made a comeback as BOL4 on November 4 with her single “Filmlet.”
