Watch: Hwang Jung Min Is A Reporter Who Values Food Above Anything Else In Teaser For "Hush"

JTBC’s new drama “Hush” has released a new teaser!

The upcoming Friday-Saturday drama is about the everyday struggles and ethical dilemmas of newspaper reporters. It will portray their problems as ones that all office workers deal with, rather than just reporters.

Hwang Jung Min takes the role of Han Joon Hyuk, a veteran reporter who’s lost his passion for the work because of the harsh reality of the industry. In contrast, Girls’ Generation’s YoonA plays the spirited and bold intern reporter Lee Ji Soo, and Han Joon Hyuk becomes her mentor while they work on the same team.

The teaser begins with people going through their busy lives while checking the news. Han Joon Hyuk is hunched over his desk, and his attention is solely on the article he’s writing. He looks diligent and immersed, but suddenly, he shuts his laptop and leaves his desk.

Lee Ji Soo spots him leaving and asks if he’s on his way to collect information about a new story. Han Joon Hyuk waves his hand in an annoyed manner as he thinks to himself, “Of course not.” After looking up something on his phone, he suddenly lights up with a smile and claims, “That’s right! Food is mightier than the pen!”

JTBC’s “Hush” will premiere on December 11 at 11 p.m. KST following the conclusion of “More Than Friends.”
