Upcoming Drama "Live On" Shares Glimpse Of Jung Da Bin, NU'EST's Minhyun, And Yang Hye Ji As Not-So-Ordinary High Schoolers
New JTBC drama “Live On” shared new stills ahead of tonight’s premiere!
“Live On” is a romance drama set in the broadcasting club of Seo Yeon High School. Jung Da Bin plays Baek Ho Rang, the school celebrity and social media influencer who enters the club for suspicious motives, while NU’EST’s Minhyun plays Go Eun Taek, the head of the club who is strict and a perfectionist. Yang Hye Ji takes on the role of Ji So Hyun, model student and vice president of the broadcasting club.
In the first set of stills, Go Eun Taek and Ji So Hyun are selecting an announcer for their broadcasting club. Baek Ho Rang is one of the applicants for the position, and she boldly faces her interviewers. Baek Ho Rang especially zooms close to Go Eun Taek, and he stares back at her with equal confidence. Ji So Hyun leans in to whisper something to Go Eun Taek, and viewers are wondering if they’ll accept Baek Ho Rang or not.
The second set of stills show Jung Da Bin’s perfect transformation into Baek Ho Rang, the social media celebrity. She is a prideful character who puts on a tough front to hide her loneliness, and she hides a mysterious secret that could endanger her fame.
Jung Da Bin, who started off as a child actress, appeared in many works and portrayed each of her unique characters in a lively manner with her detailed gestures, emotional lines, and various facial expressions. Viewers are looking forward to her new transformation for this drama.
The drama also shared a closer look at Yang Hye Ji’s character.
Ji So Hyun is a model student and vice president of the broadcasting club. She may be seen as kind and gentle, but she also knows how to stand up for herself. Although Ji So Hyun was once friends with Baek Ho Rang, she was suddenly cut off for no particular reason. Viewers are also looking forward to her romance with puppy-like Kim Yoo Shin (VICTON’s Byungchan), who is Baek Ho Rang’s one and only friend.
Yang Hye Ji commented, “As it is a story of young people, there are many elements to sympathize with. It is a drama that will bring peace and comfort to viewers who are students and viewers who miss their school days, so please look forward to it!
“Live On” premieres on November 17 at 9:30 p.m. KST and will be available with English subtitles on Viki!
