Watch: Jo Byeong Gyu, Kim Sejeong, And More Are A Supernatural Team Of Demon Hunters In "The Uncanny Counter" Teaser

OCN has shared an action-packed teaser for their upcoming drama “The Uncanny Counter”!

Based on a webtoon, “The Uncanny Counter” is about demon hunters called “counters” with supernatural powers who disguise themselves as employees of a noodle restaurant in order to find and defeat demons who have come to Earth in pursuit of eternal life.

The clip starts off with So Moon (Jo Byeong Gyu) chosen as a special “counter” when he’s asked, “We’re all people who do the work of the afterlife. Do you want to meet a demon?”

So Moon, who has to take care of his grandparents, initially rejects the offer, but later, he unintentionally ends up hunting for demons. In a dramatic turn of events, So Moon is seen desperately trying to save another person’s life. Choo Mae Ok (Yeom Hye Ran) tells him in disbelief, “You just saved this child.” From there, So Moon officially starts his journey as a counter.

Joining him as the supernatural team of counters are Ga Mo Tak (Yoo Joon Sang), whose special power is strength; Do Ha Na (gugudan’s Kim Sejeong), the “human radar” that can sense demons; and Choo Mae Ok, the only one among the Counters with healing abilities. Including So Moon, these four will be traversing the worlds of the afterlife, the living, and the border between them.
