The cast members of “True Beauty” are off to a great start!
On November 22, tvN’s upcoming drama “True Beauty” released the first batch of behind-the-scenes moments from their first day of filming.
The video starts with a short video collage introducing all the characters including Lim Ju Gyeong (Moon Ga Young), Lee Su Ho (ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo), Han Seo Jun (Hwang In Yeop), and more. It previews that the series will be a heartwarming story for viewers to enjoy during the winter.
Each of the actors sit down for a quick interview, describing their thoughts about being on set for the first time with one another. Moon Ga Young is the first to comment, and she says, “Everything went better than what I was hoping for. Today has made me more excited for the days to come.” The next to comment is Cha Eun Woo, who says, “I was nervous but also felt comfortable at the same time. I had been running things through my mind so much that when it finally happened, it just felt like everything was falling into place.”
Hwang In Yeop said, “I had so much fun filming and am looking forward to everything ahead of us.” Park Yoo Na, who will be playing the role Kang Su Jin, stated, “I was worried about how things will go since it’s our first time on the set together. But I think I did a good job without getting too nervous, so I’m proud of myself.”
The cast members unanimously agreed that their chemistry was really good. Moon Ga Young commented, “It’s all of our first times working together. But we get along so well that we even attempted to throw in some ad-libs.” Both Cha Eun Woo and Hwang In Yeop added that the cast members have good chemistry, with Cha Eun Woo stating, “We took a lot of time practicing our lines together beforehand, so it came together really well when the time came to actually film.”
The video ends with a clip of Moon Ga Young and Cha Eun Woo preparing for an upcoming scene in the school hallway. Moon Ga Young commends him for being so good at talking to the camera casually, and he offers her to try it for herself. They joke back and forth in a sweet manner that raises anticipation for their onscreen romance.
