Girls' Generation's YoonA And Hwang Jung Min Pose As Busy Reporters In Main Poster For "Hush"

Hwang Jung Min and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA’s upcoming JTBC drama “Hush” has unveiled its main poster!

“Hush” is about the everyday struggles and ethical dilemmas of newspaper reporters. It will portray their problems as ones that all office workers deal with, rather than just reporters.

Hwang Jung Min takes the role of Han Joon Hyuk, a veteran reporter who’s lost his passion for the work because of the harsh reality of the industry. In contrast, YoonA plays the spirited and bold intern reporter Lee Ji Soo, and Han Joon Hyuk becomes her mentor while they work on the same team.

In the new poster that is cleverly formatted as a newspaper, YoonA and Hwang Jung Min portray the unique charms of their characters.

YoonA poses as Lee Ji Soo, a hard-working intern reporter, and her eyes are wide and round with curiosity and youthful passion. She leans towards her fellow reporter with a clipboard in hand, as if she’s about to ask him a question.

On the other hand, Hwang Jung Min shows the leisure of the veteran reporter Han Joon Hyuk. Despite the hectic workplace, he looks relaxed and even a bit lazy as he sits as his desk with a coffee tumbler in hand. He doesn’t even glance towards Lee Ji Soo, and he seems uninterested to hear what she has to say.

The caption at the bottom of the poster reads, “The livelihood of salaried reporters,” hinting that the drama will show the ups and downs of average office workers.

Viewers are especially looking forward to the teamwork of idol-turned-actress YoonA and veteran actor Hwang Jung Min.

Hwang Jung Min, who is returning to the small screen in eight years, said, “I was attracted to the script, which was both realistic and unique, and I couldn’t let go of it easily. It’s a good script that makes you focus on the small stories in the solid plot.”

YoonA commented, “Just the fact that Hwang Jung Min is going to star in this drama made me want to be part of it as well. I think I can show you a new side of me through Lee Ji Soo, an intern reporter determined to survive through anything. I will do my best so that everyone can deeply sympathize with the process of her growth.”

“Hush” premieres on December 11 at 11 p.m. KST following the conclusion of “More Than Friends.”
