TXT Tests Negative For COVID-19 + Big Hit Announces They Will Resume Activities
TXT has tested negative for COVID-19 and will be resuming all scheduled activities.
On November 25, Big Hit Entertainment announced that TXT would be undergoing testing for COVID-19, explaining, “TXT appeared on EBS’s [children’s show] ‘Boni Hani’ on November 19. Last night, one of the performers on that program learned that they had come into contact with a confirmed COVID-19 patient. After we were informed of this news, we wanted to be prepared for all possible situations, so [the group] underwent testing for COVID-19 this morning.”
On the morning of November 26, Big Hit Entertainment followed up by officially announcing that all five of the TXT members’ test results had come back negative.
The agency stated, “After being tested for COVID-19, TXT and the entirety of their staff all received negative test results. Starting from today, they will be resuming all activities as usual.”
